Most people do not want to pay a fee for the privilege of playing all a game has to offer. Most people have more than one person in a house to game with. Most people donвЂ™t even have internet fast enough to play over a server. Most people would rather their games include local multiplayer. Let me thank you for pushing me to clarify my thoughts.

But to be fair I dont even care about multiplayer, I'm a single player gamer and I only subscribe to plus for the discounts and the free games, so I get multiplayer as a bonus if I ever want to play it. I don't know how much money goes to these servers, I barely even know how they work. I do partially agree that paying for multiplayer is MOST LIKELY not necessary. Yes some people love local and want it back, but the numbers are probably not even close to being enough to make companies spare development time to create it. Local multiplayer was eliminated because barely anyone cares about local anymore, everybody wants online. I disagree that local multiplayer was eliminated to earn more money. I'm not saying you are right or wrong, just that it's extremely pretentious to say 'I know I am right', and actually removes credit from your argument because you come out as an asshole rather than someone smart trying to state a point. You can enjoy the entire game without any of it. never bought em, never missed em, what's the big deal? They aren't forced on you. I've only ever played the base game, don't do multiplayer, could give two shits less about skins or all that special garbage they want you to buy for a few bucks each. I honestly don't understand what all the crying is about with loot boxes and all that mess. So far Battlefront II which I just played the first time tonight looks like I will also get plenty of enjoyment from the Solo and Arcade modes without ever touching online multiplayer and never spending a dime more than the base games 60 dollar price tag. Never played multiplayer online and never missed it. I enjoyed the campaign in Destiny 2 and took my time over a couple months enjoying the graphics and trying different tactics to complete different parts of levels.
